A number of dead birds were found in Bantwa village of Junagadh district and the administration was on the run.



After the outbreak of bird flu in various states of the country, a number of dead birds were found in Bantwa village of Junagadh district of Gujarat on January 2. The bodies of 53 birds (Titodi, Nakto, Bagli, Duck) have been captured and sent for postmortem to check whether these birds have died due to bird flu. Range forest officials suspect the birds may have died as a result of the epidemic. On the other hand, the state's wildlife department has issued an alert across the state following the advice of the Indian government.
